POWER couple Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness have joined the ranks of Melbourne property owners cashing in on the hot market.
The high-profile couple quietly sold a two-bedroom apartment in the Melbourne CBD in May for $740,000.
There was no hint of Hollywood in the marketing of the Russell St pad, despite its A-list connections.

MELBOURNE WALL SELLS FOR HOW MUCH?
The apartment sold with a lease in place until May next year.
Agent Robert Eggers, of Dingle Partners, Melbourne, said the property had been held as an investment for many years.
The 1920s era block, Cavendish House, was renovated in the mid-1990s, shortly before records show it last sold for $240,000, according to CoreLogic RP Data.
Mr Eggers said the auction on May 30 was hotly contested, with four bidders pushing the price to $740,000.
It beat the advertised price range of $650,000-$710,000.
The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a sleek kitchen with granite benchtops.
